Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.quantocklavendercompany.com ("QLCwebsite"). By completing your customer registration with us; using any part of QLCwebsite; or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.

1. Use of the QLCwebsite

Quantock Lavender Company Limited* is the supplier of goods on QLCwebsite.

2. Placing an order and order acceptance

To be eligible to purchase goods on QLCwebsite, you must be aged 18 or older and be the holder of a valid credit/debit card.

You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the QLCwebsite. After placing your order, we shall send you an acknowledgement with an order reference number and the price of your order that has been debited to your credit/debit card. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Quantock Lavender Company Limited.

Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with the Returns and Cancellations paragraph 8 below, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when we have dispatched the goods ordered by you. To cancel your order after it has been dispatched to you, you will need to follow the Returns and Cancellations paragraph 8 below.

We may not accept your order if an item you have ordered is out of stock; we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment; or if we identify a product or pricing error. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

If we are unable to fulfil your order following our order acknowledgement, we shall contact you immediately by email or telephone advising you of this.

3. Content

All content on QLCwebsite is protected by international copyright laws.

The trade marks, logos, and service marks displayed on the QLCwebsite ("Trade Marks") are the registered and unregistered marks of Quantock Lavender Company Limited and are protected by international trade mark laws. All other Trade Marks not owned by us, our affiliates, our partners or our licensors that appear on QLCwebsite are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by us.

Neither the Content, the Trade Marks, nor any other portion of QLCwebsite may be used, reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, accessed, modified, or otherwise exploited, in full or in part, for any purpose without our prior written consent.

4. Description of products

Although we take all reasonable care to keep QLCwebsite updated, the information including product descriptions appearing on QLCwebsite from time to time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order (2. above).

5. Prices

Prices shown on QLCwebsite are in pounds (£). Prices are exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery charges as displayed in the checkout section of QLCwebsite.

All prices are as stated on the QLCwebsite but Quantock Lavender Company Limited reserves the right at any time to adjust the prices without prior notice.

Overseas orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes for which you will be liable.

6. Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that the credit or debit card or other payment account that is being used is yours. If the issuer of your payment card does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we shall not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We use Cardstream to process all online payments to ensure your payment information is kept secure. Quantock Lavender Company Limited does not hold the credit card details of any customers. While this means you will have to enter you details with every order, we believe it is the most secure way of processing your orders.

Payment will be debited from your card immediately on your placing the order for the goods you have purchased. Upon processing the transaction, we shall issue you with an electronic transaction receipt that will be sent to the e-mail address you provide.

We retain legal ownership of the goods until you have made full payment and such payment has been received by us. Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.

7. Delivery

We shall deliver the goods in approximately 5-7 working days.

8. Returns and Cancellations procedure

Returns and Cancellations

If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your order, you may return any item in its original condition for a full refund or exchange within 14 working days from our receipt of the returned goods. Returned goods must be unopened, unused and in a saleable condition. At minimum, the item must have all of its packaging and seals intact.

The goods are your responsibility until they reach us and therefore, for your own protection, we recommend you get proof of postage as we can only refund on receipt of the unwanted goods. If you return your entire order, we shall refund the original delivery cost. If a returned product is faulty, we shall refund the original delivery cost and the postage paid by you to send it back to us. Refunds will only be made to the credit or debit card on which the purchase was made.

It is always safest that you send any returned items back via Recorded Delivery to avoid loss of items.

Should you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us*. Once an order has been dispatched, please email us* to let us know

If you cancel your order but do not return the cancelled goods to us within 14 working days, we shall be entitled to collect such goods from you and to charge you for the direct costs of collecting the goods. You should note these charges (which may be deducted from a refund) are likely to exceed the costs of your returning the goods. Until such goods are returned to us, you are obliged to exercise all reasonable care to store the cancelled goods safely and in appropriate conditions.

If the goods you receive are damaged or faulty in any way, or not what you originally ordered we shall be happy to exchange the items or offer you a refund. Please notify us within 5 working days of delivery by e-mailing us*. To ensure prompt resolution, please provide the order number and keep the box, packing materials and the damaged items for inspection. We regret that we are unable to acknowledge claims for damage should we be informed outside of this time scale.

9. Complaints

If you wish to complain about any matter in respect of the goods please contact us*.

10. Samples and gifts

Any products, samples or gifts we may provide to you are for personal use only. You may not sell or re-sell any of the products, samples or gifts you receive from us.
